TOWARD THE SUN: SUMMERHOUSE IN ANTIPAROS
At Lydiaroda Architectural Materials, we take pride in supporting projects that embody excellence, sustainability, and refined craftsmanship. This month, we highlight our contribution to “Toward the Sun: Summerhouse in Antiparos,”designed by Tassos Biris – Sofia Tsiraki & Associate Architects, and recently nominated for the Mies van der Rohe Award 2025.
At Lydiaroda, we believe materials should enhance architecture, not compete with it. Guided by this philosophy, Toward the Sun became an ideal collaboration with a design team that shares our commitment to quality, durability, and environmental responsibility. For the project, we supplied Coulisse bamboo shading systems, bespoke fabrications, and outdoor upholstery fabrics, carefully selected to perform in the island climate while preserving the project’s understated aesthetic. Through close coordination with architects, engineers, and constructors, our materials seamlessly supported the architectural vision with precision and restraint.
